Executive Session
That brings us to executive session, ms. Porter. We announced we would take up item 24 in executive session under consultation with attorney. Consider and take appropriate action on request to approval grant application to the Texas department of public safety governor's division of emergency management for the transportation and natural resources department to purchase and address repetitive loss properties in the flood plan. That's consultation with attorney exception. 33, posted for executive session, consider and take appropriate action for the potential purchase of real estate along airport boulevard, consultation with attorney and real property exceptions. 34, consider and take appropriate action regarding the appointment of Commissioner of sale for .31-acre tract as surplus right-of-way off of lake place lane. Consultation with attorney and real plot. To lay out the issues for discussion and whatever legal questions and real estate questions we have. Have it back on next week for action. 35, receive briefing from the county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County et al. Versus marvin l. Earn necessary teen gibson, consultation with attorney. 36-a, receive briefing on security review at the 1213 sabine street work location of the Travis County medical examiner's office. And b, consider and take appropriate action on parking space contracts and other parking related options for the Travis County medical examiner's office. A will be under the security exception and b will be under the consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act. We'll discuss these matters in executive session but will return to open court before taking any action.

We announced previously that we would take up number 30 in executive session for three or four legal questions. 30 was the one we discussed involving the city owned webberville tract of land so that will be under consultation with attorney. We'll have a few legal questions.

Which involves the grant application to the Texas department of public safety, er--governor's division of emergency management. That involves repetitive loss of properties in the floodplain. I move that we approve this item and execute the agreement prepared by staff omitting the certification.

>> tax resale deed in jin song wu, and I move that we authorize the county judge to sign the proposed tax resale deed to mr. Wu, who has paid Travis County the sum of $4,306.54 in cash.

>> discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. On item number 36, the matter involving security issues down at medical examiner's office, this is three-part motion. Why don't we take it in three parts. First motion is to approve the agreement with Texas motor transportation association for lease of the 13 parking slots at $50 per month for up to the pilot of six months and then review the situation. Execute the contract as prepared because there is a right of termination in it should we decide to terminate before the termination date.

B, approve license agreement with daughters of charity health services of Austin dba bracken ridge hospital for lease of five parking spaces at $50 per space. We can execute the term of the agreement because there's a termination right in there. And the intention is to review this matter within six months and see how the situation is going. By the way, we will fund both of these contracts from the allocated reserve and review it in six months and determine whether to take the rest of it out of another source of fundin.
