Travis County Commissioners Court
October 9, 2007
Item 38
Number 38 is consider and take appropriate action on Travis County's appointment to the waller creek citizens advisory committee. We've got two names we were looking at. Are we ready to choose one of them?
>> judge, let me ask how everyone would feel about this. There are two people that are really interested in being on this thing. And I spoke with one of them yesterday and said I'd be more than willing to call the city and ask -- I mean this is the citizens advisory committee. I mean hate to leave somebody out that really wants to be on it. Just ask the city do you all mind us having two people on there.
>> I would agree with that approach and wait a week.
>> because I mean I doubt that they are going to say no, we don't want them, especially since the one person that came over lives down in the area and is really interested in being part of it. So I'll bring that information back next week and if there's not a problem with that, we'll have both names next week.
>> without objection, we'll have it on next week. Which is October 16th. 2007.
