>> good morning again. I'm sylvia lopez. And I have jerome guerrero with me. And it's an honor today to receive this proclamation on behalf of this institute. I know the participants really enjoy this beautiful city because there's so much to offer, music and food. I just wanted to briefly read the booklet, the description of this class. This comprehensive training experience will provide a unique opportunity to study among nationally recognized experts who will lead in the discussion and examination of topics in the fields of affirmative action, contract compliance, labor compliance, economic and business development, equal employment opportunity and minority women business disadvantaged small emergent enterprise program. The training agenda has been carefully designed to focus on the critical issues challenging our profession and strategy to successfully combat them. I think all those issues are in Travis County. I just wanted to briefly read to you just some of the classes that will be given because this class is from the 4th through the 9th, which is a Tuesday to a Sunday. They'll be covering subjects such as evaluating good fates outreach efforts, developing an effective or affirmative action plan, cultural diversity, monitoring dbe requirements on federal track. Creating alternatives to set asides, designing an effective disparity study. General legal updates and many more subjects. I just wanted to take a minute to thank other members who helped on the steering committee, jerome, my assistant betty, carol hadnot. Jan lawson with Austin energy and angie brown with u.t. System. There's many more people that helped put this together. And three from purchasing will be be attending this work shon. I hope you take pride with me in receiving this proclamation and thank you for read ing it so eloquently.

>> how many participants do we expect?

>> probably over 200 or more. This year we are the host city and it's throughout the country every year. So we're proud we're here.

>> I'm concerned -- it wasn't the proper posting to go into this question that I had posed earlier, but this may be a little closetory those questions that I asked earlier. And I know you may not have an answer for me today, but I want it you to really get in touch with my class, especially on the disparity end of where we are at this point in terms of helping and assisting as much as we can in bringing those particular persons, minority, women owned business and things of that nature to the level that knee need to be as far as participating in the type of contract tral situation water and wastewater contracts and other government entities. I'm really concerned about that. Now, where is this going to be held?

>> at the hilton on fourth?

>> the new hilton.

>> the new hilton.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank y'all very much.
