Number 10 is consider and take appropriate action on dedication ceremony for the keith george ruiz building at 5555 airport boulevard.

>> administrative manager for administrative operations. This item is to inform the court of the planning for the dedication of 5555 airport boulevard. Which is a building, I think most of you will note it as the old haverty's. It now serves as the

>> [inaudible] administration building as well as offices for the Travis County fire marshal. And the court voted back in November last year to name the building after keith george ruiz, a tcso swat officer that was killed in the line of duty in February of 2001. We've been working with the sheriff's office and the -- have informed also the fire marshal that we would like to have a ceremony on Friday, October 19th, 2007, beginning at 1:00 p.m. We bring to you a couple of items. One is the plaque that will be installed inside the building. And it is to commemorate and dedicate the building in honor of the memory of keith george ruiz. And you can see that in your backup. It's the first page after the memorandum. And then the page after that is how the building will look with the signage, Travis County, the seal that will be on the building and keith george ruiz building. The signage and the -- the signage and the plaque is paid for by Travis County. The festivities and the celebration to officer ruiz's life will be paid for by private dollars. And will be hosted by the sheriff's office. And it is scheduled for October the 19th, starting at 1:00 p.m. You also have pictures of what the signage will look like if you are driving down airport boulevard, it will read Travis County sheriff and fire marshal. Those will be the two offices situated. You have also minutes of November the 14th when the court voted to name the building after officer ruiz. And we have been working not only with the sheriff but with the families of officer ruiz and we're all looking forward and excited about the ceremony and the dedication of the building. And would like your approval on the plaque.

>> questions? Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank you very much. Both of you.

>> thank you all.

>> the public is invited, of course.

>> yes.

>> and we'll have several public announcements probably a couple three weeks before that date.
