Let's call to order the health facilities development corporation. First item, consider and take appropriate action on request to approve minutes of board of directors meetings of April 10, April 17 and may 1, 2007. Discussion of the motion? Is there a second?

>> second.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> number 2, consider and take appropriate action on request from the mar bridge foundation, inc. To pay county permit fees.

>> we've received a request to -- from the marbridge foundation to pay their fees that are charged by the fire marshal. They are doing -- marbridge is -- it's a nonprofit entity that serves be adult to residents that have disabilities. They currently have 223 residents. And they are building new living facilities for their residents, and they have made a request to -- for a donation of their he permit fees. The fees total $15,725. To date they have paid part of those fees, $5,490, so the unpaid amount is $11,335.

>> these fees would go to Travis County?

>> yes.

>> and so we're asking the corporation to pay --

>> this is a similar request as the girl scouts, the $2,700 that was approved last week or a couple of weeks ago.

>> judge, one of the thing that struck me when bob fulbright approached me with this was that marbridge in the last few years, they've really struggled with their funding, along with a lot of your nonprofits. And they have -- they've always been pretty creative out there the way they've generated a number of dollars. For example, I think that -- I'm pretty sure that they are closing down their nursery, which quite frankly has been a quite successful operation. Unfortunately being in that business and competing with is home depots and the lowe's and everybody that's in that business, they have watched some of their funding dwindle. And quite frankly, everyone knows or most people out there know that they are starting to develop some of their tracts, and part that have is because they are really having to rebuild most of their facilities. Given the fact that when they first approached me, I told them, I said, the 4 thu that you've -- the 4,000 that you've paid will go a little ways for me to go to the court and say, let's leave that part paid, but let's see if we can take care of this $11,000. When I approached harvey he thought this was the appropriate way to do it, and it kind of hark ened back to what we did with the girl scouts, given that these are -- versus foregoing these fees, just picking them up and paying for them, and harvey felt like that this was the appropriate place for us to try to garner these dollars.

>> did the girl scout we waive the fee?

>> the corporation paid the county.

>> I think the county could not waive the fees, so the corporation provided a source to make in effect a donation to the girl scouts.

>> okay.

>> I move approval.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> thank y'all.

>> move adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote too. And that was number 2. Move that we adjourn. Did we adjourn?
