>> I distributed the statement from mayor sanchez so you have now two candidates, one Pflugerville.
>> judge, I last week attempted to contact the mayor because when this went out before it was prior to the election that they had. Of course, the mayor, joe sanchez, appeared to have interest in serving on this particular board. So that was the reason I requested because he didn't have an opportunity to participate because it was prior to the may 12 election election.
>> is there a motion ?
>> I move that joe sanchez be made a member of cartpo and we notify him and let him know what meetings haven't everything else have transpired.
>> I didn't hear the name that you proposed.
>> the mayor.
>> mayor sanchez.
>> second.
>> seconded by Commissioner Gomez. Discussion ?
>> based on the questionnaires only, I am not prepared to vote in favor of mayor sanchez because I haven't gotten enough feedback. Looking at the questionnaire solely, it appears that council member gonzalez has a much more comprehensive response that tells me something about his position position.
>> anymore discussion? All in favor of the motion to appoint joe sanchez as the cartpo representative. Show Commissioner Gomez and Davis voting, toes against, Commissioner eckhardt, not voting.
>> I would move counselor gonzalez be pointed.
>> second? All in favor of the motion. Commissioner eckhardt and dougherty voting in favor. Those against? Commissioner Davis and Commissioner Gomez. That motion fails also. Thank you for your outstanding service to the people of Travis County, mr. Gieselman. We'll have this item back on in a week or two weeks y'all sm.
>> I'll be out of town starting on the 17th. I would request it be delayed a weak.
