33. Canvass election returns and declare results for the may 12, 2007 general and special elections including: a, . The constitutional amendment special election; b, the special election for the Travis County bee cave road district no. 1 (galleria); and c, the initial election for the board of Commissioners of the bastrop-travis counties emergency services district number 1.

>> thank you judge, good afternoon. To handle the first item, coming to you with the final report for the constitutional amendment election, that was held may 12th. We had a 6.37% turnout. Pretty small. I have the -- all of the precinct by precinct results available to turn into the court, so waive reading of precinct by precinct. And -- and I'll ask you to just work on this item first and we will do the others.

>> move that we waive the specific reading of the results and accept the summary as provided by county clerk.

>> and that basically declared the results to be accurate. Will that cover it?

>> thank you, yes.

>> seconded by Commissioner Daugherty. Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. What we have to hand to the county clerk is what you just gave us.

>> special election. The -- the election was held the, the motion to create the district was passed by voters in the district and I'll waive reading of the 2 precincts that were included and supply that for the caught's record.

>> ah right. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yes. I did b and c. This election was for bond funding for this particular jurisdiction. It was not creation. That's the next one. Sorry. That was for bond money.

>> okay, b is for bond funding?

>> correct.

>> move approval of the same.

>> second.

>> and that's approval of the order we have been provided and that order says order canvassing, election returns for b. Which is the Travis County cave road district no. 1 galleria. Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. C?

>> c is the creation of -- excuse me, I'm sorry, the election of the board of directors for the new bastrop-travis counties emergency services district number 1, a turnout of 4.15% in the district and Commissioners duly elected.

>> move that we approve the order canvassing the returns from the special election to elect the initial emergency services Commissioners for bastrop Travis County emergency services district number 1 that we waive the reading of all of the results and accept the summary given by the county clerk.
