Item 19

View captioned video.

19 is to consider and take appropriate action on an easement agreement covering a total of 250.65 acres from concordia university as part of the balcones canyon lands preserve. And lynn, we'll tall caul that parking item -- we'll call that parking item up next.

>> we're bringing before you today a conservation easement agreement between concordia university and Travis County. 195 acres of this property were previously considered a portion of the balcones canyon land preserve by virtue of a previously existing fish and wildlife service permit. This is the old -- some of you may know that this is the old schlumberger tract. Concordia university has since acquired the piece of property because of their redevelopment plan for three of the four development lots on this 450-acre larger parcel. They renegotiated their deal with fish and while life service, which actually added another 55 acres of mitigation lands to the property which is why the total that you're seeing today is 250 acres and not the 195 acres that were previously already counted. Of the four lots lots that will eventually be developed, concordia will develop three. There's a fourth lot that has not yet been platted. We understand that there are plans underway for that property to be developed. That property, unlike the concordia property, will yes or no rate some property taxes, which will go into the county's funds, general fund at some point in the future. In the short-term, though, the agreement behind this conservation easement documentation that was negotiated allows Travis County to operate and manage 250-acre of the preserve to the term of the balcones canyon land preserve in exchange for 10 years of annual payments from concordia. I'll be happy to take any questions.

>> move approval.

>> I'm going to need a week on this. So -- out of curt sigh I'd like -- out of courtesy I'd like to take one week.

>> one week courtesy delay. So any questions today? Any other questions? Okay. We'll have it back on next week.
