We are about to go into executive session. This morning we announced our interest in discussing 25 b, which is to consider a take appropriate action on the following items for the design-build project at the Travis County correctional complex. Design services with hok design-build consultant k specifically an interest in finding out exactly what service are covered by the current contract. And on the agenda we have 41 posted, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action on settlement demand regarding deborah laurie versus county of travis, consultation with attorney and personnel matters exceptions. 42, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action on contract negotiations with faulkner usa for new jail construction at dell vail correction the come plex design-build project, consultation with attorney. 43, consider and take appropriate action regarding two real estate issues in central Austin, real property exception to the open meetings act. And a 1, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding joe carol brad show e. Oc number 451 451-200 -01411 under the personnel matters and in consultation with attorney exceptions to the open meetings act. We will discuss these four items in executive session. Session.. Okay. Right.

>> you brought that up and said specific questions.

>> right. 30 b the matter involving a draft bill relating to the collection of a parking fee for maintenance of designated parking facilities. This will be under the consultation with attorney exception to the open meeting act. Thank you very much. I did overlook that one. We will discuss these six items all together, the four posted and the other two, but return to open court before taking any action.

we have returned from executive session. Commissioners Davis and eckhardt had to run to other county commitments and so the three of us will try to wrap up this meeting without them. We did discuss item number 25 b which involves the current contract with hok and in my view no action necessary today. We will have the negotiations for an additional services contract on for next week. 30 b we discussed also, the parking issue. And got a good understanding of our legal position on that. In my view in action required today. Right? Okay. Number 41 was a matter involving deborah lowery versus the county of travis. I move that we reject the offer to settle this matter.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote of those present. 42 we discussed the contract negotiation with faulkner usa. In my view no action required today. We do expect that the contract, the final contract within a few days, we'll have a chance to review that and have an item on next Tuesday's agenda for appropriate action. No other action required today. Number 43 involves the two real estate issues in central Austin. I move that we authorize facilities to retain an appropriate broker to begin negotiations to purchase one of these tracts of land. That's specific enough, isn't it john? Discussion? I think we indicated in court it's the tract of land farther from us than the other. I do think on the one near us we should indicate that we should make a decision real soon about our interest in acquisition for that one. I don't know that we can say more than that at this point. And as to when, my guess is that we're looking at probably two, three weeks. Discussion? We get a second. All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. And on item number 41, sorry, vision going away. A 1. The matter involving joe carol bradshaw, let's indicate to the e e oc our unwillingness to settle this matter on the terms suggested, terms communicated. All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. That does it for today.

>> adjournedadjourned.

>> all in favor. That passes by unanimous vote
