Executive Session Items
I believe that brings us to Executive Session. A texan 2, receive -- a-2, receive briefing on property at 6701 burnet road otherwise known as the farmers market and this will be under the real estate property exception and consultation with attorney just in case we need it. Number 30 is to receive briefing and take appropriate, on turk nation of 2006 license agreement with the republic of Texas biker rally. That's consultation with attorney. 32 -- 31 was postponed by the way. 32, receive briefing from county attorney concerning condemnation proceeding for wells branch parkway extension project, lisso tract, and the award of special Commissioners and take appropriate,. Consultation with attorney and let's also announce real property. 33, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate, on contract negotiation water and wastewater fall elmner u.s.a. For new construction at del valle correctional complex, design-build project. Consultation with attorney exception. And number 34, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate, concerning the extension of administrative leave for Travis County juvenile probation department employee slot 535. That will be the personnel matters and consultation with attorney exceptions to the open meetings act. We'll discuss these matters in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.
we have returned from executive session. Commissioner Davis had the leave. Commissioner eckhardt is here and she may join us momentarily. We will try to proceed without them. We did discuss item number 30, which involves the re repuck lick of Texas biker really agreement at the expo center. Move that we terminate the current contract no order to negotiate a new one.

Move that we pay total of $4 $410,000 and do not appeal the matter but respond appropriately to any action taken by the other side.

>> discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. 33 involves the new jail construction project at del valle. We did get information from legal counsel concerning negotiations. We need to do some information gathering during the week, communicate that to the other side, and have this matter back on the court's agenda next week for any follow-up discussion. In my view no action required beyond that. Number 3434 involves a request for extension--34 in ina request for extension for administrative leave for employee at the Travis County juvenile probation department in slot 535. I move that we grant the requested leave without pay extension for an additional 11 days, which should get this employee through February 2, 2007.

I move we authorize a sub , Commissioner eckhardt and dougherty, to continue working on this matter, get with the consultant and facilities, and meet with the firm that indicated an interest in purchasing this property, as well as either the affected three neighborhood associations or representatives from them, over next month or so, and hopefully have this matter back on the court's agenda in March, unless it's necessary for us to address it before then.
