I think that brings us to executive session because my notes note says please take up a 2 after executive session. This note says please delay number 36, which is an executive session item, until next week. And 36 involves the richard james miz e ll versus Travis County correctional complex mator. So, pursuant to request from the county attorney's office number 36 will be back on the court's agenda on January 30. Now we were on a 2. Let's call it up first. We'll be calling month executive session under consultation with attorney, and a 2 is to consider and take appropriate action on a a request to approve the re reallocation of lapsed bond proposition for which no participation agreement was approved, executed and delivered before December 31 2006. Consistent with a cov mant of that referendum. 25, that would be under con takes with attorney, by the way. 25 is to conduct interviews and take appropriate action regarding the hiring of executive manager for Travis County emergency services. That's under personnel matters exception. I did send you all a little backup information that may be helpful on that item yesterday. 26, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County, et a lñcious, versus the hallow incorporated, qia qian wang resale deed, consultation with attorney except sun. 27, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County et al versus bethlehem baptist church, the chanutaqua foundation, restale deed. 28, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County versus thomas e and mildred sams, consultation with attorney. 29, see of receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate act in Travis County versus the estate of lilly canin, andrew Moore restale deed, consultation with attorney exception. 30, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County versus jose and sylvia mtorres, resale deed, consultation with attorney exception. 31, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County versus homes for the '70s incorporated, a Texas corporation. Consultation with attorney exception. 34 is to briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding wane camacho and Travis County sheriff's office, consultation with attorney and personnel matters exceptions to the open meetings act. 35, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding lonestar productions event scheduled may 30 through June 3, 2007. Consultation with attorney. 36, we postponed until next week. 37, sev legal briefing and take appropriate action on proposed interlocal cooperation agreement with city of Austin for public health and human services, consultation with attorney. 38, receive update on chief administrative officer position in medical examiner examiners office and take appropriate action, consultation with attorney and personnel matter exceptions to the open meetings act. 39 is to receive briefing from county attorney on legal issues regarding re reallocation of funds for tier one road projects for which participation agreement were not executed by December 31, 2006. That one is entwined with a 2. Both are under consultation with attorney exceptions to open meetings act. 40 is to receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding possible resolution of property boundary conflicts at selma house park. We will be in consultation with attorney. Yes, sir.

>> thank you, we do need that item number 8. There were a couple of legal questions that we needed to ask. Number 8 is the matter involving the expo center that we discussed this morning, the license agreement, the rate schedule and the strategy to bring custodial services in house. So we'll discuss number 8 too under consultation with attorney. And we will discuss these matters under the announced exceptions to the open meetings act but we will return to open court before taking any action.


we have returned from executive where we discussed item number 8 involving the expo center, got legal advice on that one. We'll have it back on next week. In my view we can hold off on the motions until then. On that okay ?

>> I think we ought too come up with a few names for the blue ribbon committee and see if we can get some assistance from them. A 2 we just discussed instead of maybe discussing it further in open court, if we will just review the backup, have it on the agenda next week. Is that okay ?

>> do we need need--to post the executive session item on the public private partnerships? Just in case issues come up?

>> just the way it is.

>> this item may be taken to executive session for consultation with attorney. That will get it done, won't it? Okay. A 1, we did approve earlier, didn't we. All right. 25 is the item regarding the hiring of executive manager of Travis County emergency services. Move that we hire danny hobby.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor that passed by unanimous vote. We have a series of tax resale deeds. On item number 26, I move that we authorize the county judge to sign the proposed tax relieve sale deed to qia qian wang, who has paid Travis County the sum of $4, $4,802.91 two times for two separate tracts of land and so that the basically one deed with two tracts of land in each one of them. And each one. Discussion in all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 27, two tracts of land again, move that we authorize the county judge to execute the prepared tax resale deed to the chataqua foundation incorporated, two tracks, each of which the foundation has paid Travis County 275 for so a total of $550.

>> discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. . Number 28 I proof that we authorize the county judge to authorize the resale deed for the amount of 15,801. Discussion in all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 29, I move we authorize the county judge to prepare the tax resale deed to andrew Moore.

>> discussion in all in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. Number 30, I move we authorize the county judge to prepare the tax resale deed to lisa diaz who has paid Travis County. Discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. Number 31. I move that we authorize the county judge to sign the prepared tax resale deed to chad c stark whorks has paid Travis County the sum of $2, $2,121.54. In cash.

>> all in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. And item number 32, I move that we herize the county judge to sign the prepared tax resale deed to lussy lister the third who has paid Travis County the sum of $3,153.

>> all in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. 33 was a matter involving what the county could and could not do in terms of using our legislative consultant and advocating before the legislature. We did get excellent legal advice. Any action today ?

>> no.

>> we'll just put this back on if we ever need it in the future. Thank you, john lilly, for doing such an outstanding job. 34 we got a settlement offer in the wane camacho versus Travis County sheriff's office matter. I move we reject the offer to settle.

>> discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. We did discuss number 35, need follow up action and additional work between now and two weeks. In two weeks, February 6, right? Okay. We'll have number 35 back on February 6. 36 was not discussed. It was postponed before we went into executive session. We did get legal advice on number 37, the proposed interlocal cooperation agreement city of Austin for public health and human services. No action in my book. We need to get with the city and get a contract before us for the court to consider. We will go ahead and do that that. All right. Any other action? Number a matter involving the had medical examiner's office chief administrative officer position, we did get a letter of resignation from our incumbent in that position. We certainly wish her well as she deals with family health matters. She has been an outstanding employee for us and made a difference in the medical examiner's office and she will be greatly missed. No further action required today. Right? Number 39 involves a public- public-private partnership that the voters authorized us to enter into by December 31 of 2006. We did get legal advice on that and a 2, may require some action. We'll have that back on the the court's agenda next week week. All right. And finally number 40 involving the selma house park. We did get an update on that matter probably not ready for action today.

>> probably not. We will continue to monitor and work with them and probably get it back at some point in time, judge.

>> okay. But we are eager to resolve that matter on mutually agreeable terms. And so, we eagerly anticipate an opportunity to address it at another, on another occasion.

>> right.
