Consent Items

View captioned video.

Posted for consent are c 1 through c 12. C 1 through c 12. And I show those to be ready. For action today. And -- and let's consider adding the following items to the consent motion. It's a long list of fairly routine items. Beginning with number 3, if you would like for us to discuss these separately, please say so as we call out the number. Number 4, 5 that we had the public hearing on, number 6, all of number 7,.

>> judge, can I -- I don't know if I need to discuss it, but I noticed that on our backup sheet that number 7 had the signature for precinct 3 Gerald Daugherty, I think that's in precinct 2, is it not? Joe? All the --

>>

>> [indiscernible]

>> that's a precinct 2 project versus -- so I don't know --

>> let's just clarify the record on that, I think it's all right. These are fairly routine in that we do condominiums like this and a -- the phase-in agreements are really just to allow us to sort of monitor progress, right?

>> that's correct.

>> although --

>> which one?

>> I would like the opportunity to -- to get with joe on this item. So I understand it better. Exactly what they are asking to be exempted from and I understand that it's a condominium project. We are not --

>> [multiple voices]

>> as a matter of policy, on this particular item, in other words, are you asking to postpone this item until we have that discussion? Or would you like to have a discussion on condominiums in general for future reference?

>> I think what would be good is to postpone that item until we have been able to have that discussion so I can vote appropriately since it is a project in my precinct.

>> well, it's been brought to my attention because I looked at that, also. It's been brought to my attention that that item actually is in precinct 1.

>> well, the -- maybe the best thing to do is postpone all of number 7. Any -- will that create any problem for us?

>> no.

>> we can have that back on next week.

>> that was according to your staff, joe. Because I looked at that, also. I saw some confusion there. I said wait a minute let's look at the lines. So -- so it's actually according to your staff they said it's in precinct 1.

>> Commissioner, I didn't know whether it was in 2 or 1.

>> I understand.

>> that line is so close in there but that's --

>> I understand.

>> right.

>> all of number 7 will be postponed and back on the agenda next week.

>> yeah.

>> number 8 is the condominium project, also.

>> precinct 3.

>> any issues with it? All right. Then let's put it on the consent motion. Number 9, number 10, 11,.

>> nine actually I had a couple of questions regarding 9.

>> all right. 9 is wal-mart educational materials item.

>> uh-huh.

>> will somebody from the sheriff's office come over and try to answer that question. Number 9 we will call up for separate discussion. Number 10? 11, 12. 13 I do think we need to discuss publicly just so the public will know what we are doing, get a clear understanding of hour commitment on that. Of our commitment on that. 13 I recommend -- 14 I recommend up to $800. A figure close to that was requested. There's the county policy that guides the expenditure. 15 -- actually, I'm -- from 15 go to 17 we just routinely formally approve those reports in 17. And -- and actually I requested that we -- that we hold off on 18 until next week. Make a formal appointment on that, also. I did read the backup. Is the court only rule -- only provider of services and the -- in the rural areas? The only one?

>> I think so, yeah.

>> it is.

>> I don't have any problem with mr. Marsh, but the law is fairly specific on that.

>> [papers shuffling - audio interference]

>> second.

>> would anyone like for us to pull any of these items for separate discussion? All in favor of the motion? That passes by unanimous vote.
