Number 2, is to consider and take appropriate action regarding the prohibition of outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County and related matters. Mr. Baldwin.

>> good morning, pete baldwin, emergency management coordinator. The recommendation is that we lift the ban. We had put a new one in on December 22nd because of the holidays and made sure that we got us through that period of time. But with the rain that we have received over the holidays and also looking at the maps provided to us by the Texas forest service this morning, we do not have any areas that would meet the requirements to have -- to keep a burn ban in place.

>> okay. And on the aerials we -- the state of Texas found that drought conditions had disappeared and so -- so automatically the fireworks order --

>> the order restricting the two fireworks that we are allowed to do anything with automatically went out once the requirements for drought were no longer met. We -- we did not do a specific order to lift that because the language is fairly specific that the order is no longer in effect once there's no longer any drought conditions. We did send out a press release last week indicating that -- that we -- that it had been lifted. So that would help with the -- with some of the fireworks industry to get some clarification. So that has been taken care of.

>> okay. Move that we follow staff's recommendation and lift the order prohibiting outdoor burning.

>> sending.

>> and do --

>> second.

>> and do we normally execute a lift order?

>> for the outdoor burning ban?

>> yes, sir.

>> you should have it in your signature file.

>> all right.

>> if you don't we will make sure that you have one.

>> maybe it's in the other file here. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
