Executive Session Items
41 we need to kuhl up in executive session, so let's call it under the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. And 41 is to consider and take proant action on a request to approve a participation agreement between Travis County and a private developer on improvements on elroy road in presigning four. That's the consultation with attorney exception. And posted are the following executive session items, 48, discuss and take appropriate action regarding first amendment to lease agreement between city of Jonestown and Travis County for space located at 18649 highway 1431 under the consultation with attorney and real estate exceptions to the open meetings act.
>> 49, consider and take appropriate action regarding the hiring of executive manager for Travis County emergency services and authorize negotiations with selected candidate. That's the personnel matters exception. 50, consider purchase offers received for property at 6701 burnet road and take appropriate action on options for sale and evaluation criteria. That's the real property exception. Let's also announce under the consultation with attorney. 51, consider and take appropriate action on farmers market lease agreement with carey keith, d/b/a cool beans coffee. Real property exception and consultation with attorney fks we will discuss these matters in closed session, but will return to open court before taking any action.
we have returned from executive session. Where we discussed the following items, number 41,.
>> I move that we reauthorize you to sign the -- I guess the new agreement with the changes made to it, to -- one was to accept the contractor's bid and the other one was regarding the project management compromise reached on the -- on that agreement.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. We did discuss item no. 50, and gave -- gave directions to our real estate agent on that and let's have it back on the agenda January 9th.

>> of 2007. For appropriate follow-up action. Number 51 involves the farmers market and the request for a lease with the cool beans coffee.
>> judge, I move approval of the proposed lease contingent upon ms. Keith signing off on some amendments that we need to add, giving her a legal right of entry to the property prior to the actual commencement of the lease. Basically during the buildout process.

That's -- that's -- let's express our appreciation to -- to the owner for her patience as we tried to work through some issues involving the farmers market. That leaves number 49. Regardless the hiring of an executive manager for Travis County emergency services, I move that we recess this item until 10:00 tomorrow morning, that the Commissioners court would con convenient to discuss this -- convene to discuss this one item and take appropriate action.

December 20, 2006 - Recessed Item 40
Let's call back to order the voting session of the Travis County Commissioners court. Convened and conducted yesterday that we recess. And 49 is to consider and take appropriate action regarding the hiring of executive manager for Travis County emergency services and authorize negotiations with selected candidates and yesterday was posted under the personnel matters exception to the open meetings act. Let's add today the -- the consultation with attorney exception, just in case we need it. This will be the only item that we discuss in executive session. And we will return to open court before taking any action.
we have returned from executive session, the matters exception to the open meetings act in addition, based on those discussions, in my view, we should take no action today, but repost this matter for the earliest -- earliest opportunity -- before or on jab 2nd, depending on -- January 2nd, depending on the availability of court members and others that we need for this. And I move that we authorize the county judge to notify those individuals short listed that instead of making the decision yesterday as promised, that the decision will be at a later date and may be as late as January 2nd. We can informally check and if we can get a better earlier date, we are open to do that as long as we meet the posting requirements, but January 2nd at the latest.
