Now, we had posted interviews to be at 1:45. We missed that deadline. Mr. Bass, is one of the individuals we were supposed to interview, is from out of town. Mr. Bass is back there. Pete baldwin is from here. Pete, if we reverse the order there, is that okay?

>> I have no problem.

>> take mr. Bass first since he's from out of town. Freafers.

>> number 30 is to conduct interviews with certain candidates for executive manager for emergency services for Travis County emergency services and authorize negotiations with selected candidate. And the selection committee has recommended a short list of three candidates, pete baldwin, doug bass and mike simpson, and my recommendation is that we review them and interview in this order, doug bass, pete baldwin and then mike simpson. Pete and mike are from this area and mr. Bass is from out of town. This is posted under the personnel matters dpoaption the open meetings act. John hilly, if you are listening, I would like to take you up on a suggestion that we can take up after the first of the year items 34, 35, 36 and 37. And those are the resale deeds. I have suggested to him earlier if we could we may have to postpone those after the first of the year because I understand that mr. Beck is out of town next week. Elliott beck. And he's the attorney who is working on these. They say no harm will be done if we postpone them until after them. After doing those interviews in executive session, we may as well take up 31, consider purchase offers received for property at 6701 burnet road and take appropriate action on options for sale. That's posted under real property exebtd to the open meetings act. Number 32 is to receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in estate of susan c. Milburn, deceased. That's the consultation with attorney exception. And do we need 33 today? Do you know we put that back on just in case mr. Rylander complied. Call it up?

>> go ahead, because it's tied into 31.

>> 33 is to consider and take appropriate action on farnlers market lease agreement with carey keith, d/b/a cool beans coy fi. That's the consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act. We will discuss these in executive session and return to open court to take action. And if we have to take up 34, 35, 36, 37, let us know. Basically we will not announce them now because we think we will be able to postpone them.

we have returned from executive session where we discussed the following items. Number 30, we did do our interviews. Let's mull over these between now and next week, have another item posted next Tuesday for us to make a decision. We did interview the three candidates for that position. Those went well. Number 31, we will have that back on the agenda, also. Next week for -- for follow-up action. Number 32, we do appreciate dan mansewer and ms. Thomas representing Travis County at the mediation. And should I read the motion?

>> uh-huh.

>> the motion is to accept the remediated -- the mediated settlement amount where, one, Travis County receives 30% of the remaining half of susan millburn's estate, for distribution to Travis County designated entities to use for the abuse and neglected children of Travis County. I will give you this. Okay? Two, Travis County agrees to make these distributions in memory of susan millburn. Milburn. Three, Travis County agrees that the funds designated for disbursement must be used with the settlement agreement and any court order, specifically the funds are not to be used for administrative costs or for existing program services. So funds must be used to provide services in addition to existing program services for abused and neglected children in Travis County. Four, Travis County designates the funds to be paid out as follows: a, $25,000 to the -- $20,000 to the safe kids fund of the Travis County child -- children's protective services board. C.p.s. Board. 4 b, $50,000 for additional services to be provided by the managed services organization or children's partnership. For abused and neglected children, consistent with services identified in the existing contract with Travis County health and human services to be administered by the office of children's services. C, 33 and one third percent of the remaining funds to casa, of Austin, d, 33 and a third% of the remaining funds to the Austin children's shelter, and, e, 33 and a third% of the remaining funds to safe place of Austin. And so that's 20 off the top to c.p.s. Board, 50,000 off for children's partnership, and of the remaining part one third to casa of Austin, Austin children's shelter and -- and safe place of Austin, one third equals 100%. 5 Travis County also accepts the terms of disbursement as set forth during mediation. And, six, to authorize the county judge to sign settlement agreements and terms of disbursement.

>> second.

>> that's the motion. Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Of those present with Commissioner Sonleitner temporarily away. If we could give the clerk those -- all of those are 33 and a third% basically. This morning we said that we would call up number 6 in executive session. We did not announce that item. Did not discuss it. It will be back on the court's agenda next week. Okay.
