Number 3 is a public hearing to receive comments concerning the proposed issuance of the Travis County housing finance corporation student housing adjustable rate demand revenue bonds, series 2006 college houses project.

>> good morning, cliff blunt. We are council for the corporation. I would just like to state that the notice of this public hearing was published in the american-statesman more than 14 days ago, as required by the tax code. Also real briefly, that notice anticipated that this project would have a refinancing component to it as well as finance the new project for college houses. The -- the college houses has made some changes to their plan and the proceeds now will not -- of the bonds will not be used to refinance any other debt. All of the proceeds will be used for the new project at 1905 and 1907 nueces, I believe. That's the only change between the notice and what the -- what the --

>> still fairly consistent with the presentation that we received last time?

>> yes, sir.

>> okay.

>> all right.

>> I would love to here when that presentation was given. I just happened to not be presents. But I did have a briefing, significant briefing with -- with harvey Davis on some of this. So I feel pretty comfortable with it. About it. With some questions that I had on this. And -- and so I -- you know, I would be pretty much laid it out the way it really is. I'm -- that was on yesterday I guess. So -- anyway, go ahead.

>> [one moment please for change in captioners] little bit higher than at our new project, but the rates will be at most for someone at about 40% of mfi could afford to live in west campus. If you want to live in west campus and be able to walk to school, that's a rare thing. Most developers are jacking up prices right now, they're not keeping them affordable.

>> this would be a student co-op.

>> yes, sir.

>> and you have been in this business before, it is not new to you?

>> it is not.

>> would anyone like to give testimony at this public hearing.

>> move the public hearing be closed?

>> it was brought to my attention and I want to make sure this is real clear that this particular property has been off of the tax role for a number of years. I don't know exactly -- I don't recall the exact year of where the construction will take place. I think back in the 1960's or something like that as far as not being on the tax roll?

>> it was built in the 60's. We've owned it since the 80's.

>> so since -- it's nothing new that's coming up in other words as far as folks looking at this and want to make sure that they have --

>> yeah.

>> faif favor? That passes by unanimous vote. This would be action item number 24 on today's agenda.
