Would anybody like to -- to testify under citizens communication any matter not on the agenda. If so, please come forward. I wanted to take this opportunity to remind employees that the run tex learn to run program is underway. We appreciate paul and

>> [indiscernible] and our own for putting this program together. They currently have 52 employees enrolled. It will stay -- enrollment will remain open through today. You go to the run tex website, for the Wednesday program, here in the granger lobby or Thursday, 5:30 p.m. Training at run tex on riverside and first. And of course this leads up to the brown santa 5 k, kids 1 k on December 3. We want to remind all employees that's still a program that's open.

>> okay.

>> turnout on Thursday, a good turnout.

>> tomorrow there will be another opportunity to join?

>> yeah. The noon -- is it the noon program? On Wednesdays.

>> through tomorrow they can sign up for the Wednesday program or the Thursday program.

>> okay.

>> if you miss one, you can go to the other. It's hopefully a coordinated program. The second item that I would like to discuss for the court is automated external defibrillators. A lot of discussion about those in court. About two years ago the court approved a public access defibrillator program which has been evolving. Currently that program has resulted in 90 aed's dpe ployed throughout -- deployed throughout Travis County facilities. We trained over 300 employee rescuers. The program was submitted for recognition to the Texas chapter of public risk management association and we received recognition awarded as an exemplary program and at their conference in November. So we believe that program which is managed by chuck watt is an excellent program as does the Texas chapter of

>> [indiscernible] wanted to inform the court.

>> thank you very much.

>> thank you. Just as a friendly reminder, Friday of next week, October 27th, 2006, is the Travis County combined charities big halloween festival. For this year. And -- what we do is try to raise money that we contribute to the non-profit agencies that provide health and human services to Travis County residents and -- and happy to say that Travis County has been very actively involved in this for the last score I guess.

>> the highlight is who gets into the dunking booth. Always seems to be very, very popular. Excellent throwers in t.n.r. Who will throw things for us.

>> there's a movement under the -- on the way I -- underway I think to get our precinct 2 Commissioner to -- to serve this year.

>> I would pass that on to bob huntz.

>> [laughter]

>> the consent items are next.
