18 is to consider and take appropriate action on suggestions to name the county buildings at 4011 mckinney parkway and 555 boulevard and set date for public hearings.

>> good morning, judge, Commissioners, karl malone, admin ops, memo in your agenda backup from executive member alicia perez, this is the next step in the process to end these two Travis County buildings.

>> microphone, please?

>> oh, thanks. We have 17 names come in by the deadline on Friday and the Commissioner's court has already voted to set the public hearing on October 24th, the paperwork has been submitted in draft form to your office judge, one week from today, and public hearings to receive comments pertaining to letteres and e-mails that we forwarded to you. The traditional and customary practices, the one that is in the policy, affording them to the Travis County historical commission, and determine the historical commission has agreed to schedule an item on Wednesday, November 1, to vote on comments and recommendations regarding the names of the buildings. So the court voted on this schedule on September 19th, compressed schedule is how alicia described it. Public hearing for the Tuesday of the month, you're here to receive the recommendations.

>> in terms of getting the packet over to the historical commission so that they have the maximum amount of time to get ready for their hearing, do we have to wait until after the 24th, the hearing on the 24th, to forward them over the information packet or can that be assembled now to give them more time to be ready for their November 1st --

>> I assembled it now, I'm ready to hand deliver to the ones I can get to today, the rest will be mailed.

>> okay. Great.

>> so do we need to approve the recommended time line.

>> the public hearing is already approved for the 24th, but a motion to approve the staff recommendation today could do no harm.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank you, mr. Malone.
