Housing Finance Corporation
Now let's call to order the Travis County housing corporation. First is to approve an invoice from consumer credit counseling services.
>> I'm harvey Davis, manager for the corporation. The invoice is for $375, similar to invoices that we've had in the past. This was to give home buyer education services to five families, and they have paid their fee to the corporation that was $25 each and been deposited into the corporation's bank account.

>> second. Firks discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number two is to consider and take appropriate action on request to approve minutes of board of directors meetings of July 11, July 25 its and August 8th, 2006.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Three is is to consider and take appropriate action on wellness fair 20,000 k run and 5 k run at Travis County exposition center December third 2006. The Commissioners court has not made this request yet, but they have told us it was coming. We're not in front of the eight ball and acting in front of the request because this is such a good program. Don't let me take the words out of your mouth, go ahead and tell us.
>> that's correct, judge. And there is -- in the budget that was approved last week for the corporation, there is a wellness -- an amount that's a little over $10,000, so that is in the budget for the wellness program. Their request is for $2,400 for the wellness program, what similar to last year, but dan mansour is here to answer your questions.
>> is is this our second year or third year?
>> third. And I'm getting faster each year.
>> game on, baby, game on. [ laughter ]
>> are we getting more and more employee participation?
>> yes, we are. We're getting more general fwlik participation as well as employee participation, so we're excited from that.
>> some of our court members need to show real leadership and get out there and at least run.
>> I do believe Commissioner Daugherty and I have for the last two years been out there and led the run.
>> it not lead the walk and crawl, led the run. [ laughter ]
>> he's the runner, I'm the walker.
>> leroy and I pledge that we're going to keep up with Commissioner Daugherty.
>> all right. Move approval.

>> discussion? It's a good investment. In addition to being fun, it's good exercise. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote also. Now, that was housing finance corporation.
