Executuve Session Items

And I believe that brings us to executive session, doesn't it? There was another item we talked about taking into executive session, and did we revolve those issues? Was it a budget --

we have returned from executive session where we anowbsed the -- where we discussed the items announced, number it 43 involving the water damage to the residence at 1405 canterbury. We requested that staff do additional work. Any additional action needed today? We'll have it back on next week and hopefully there will be a need for follow-up action at that time. 44 involves the claim by a former Travis County sheriff's department employee david figueroa. I poof that we authorize the -- I move that we thor the county auditor to issue a check to this employee, mr. David figueroa as salary continuation payment for the agreed period of disability beginning on October 13th, 2005 through March 16th, 2006. And ek get with the -- he can get with the county attorney's office and talk with that more specifically. Tony nelson and leslie dipple, both lawyers. Seconded by Commissioner Daugherty. Any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Do we need it back on next week just in case?

>> okay. We'll have it back on next week just in case. Number 45 involves the claim by michelle floyd-janicke. Move that we advice the county attorney to reject her counteroffer, but move a counteroffer of $15,000 and release. Second? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 46 involves the potential purchase of property at 6701 burnet road.

>> judge, I would move that we give instructions to you are real estate consultant to go ahead and put this property back on the real estate market and for him to report back if whand we get he -- if and when we get any interest on this property.

>> okay. So we'll have it back on when it is appropriate. Seconded by Commissioner Gomez. Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number 47 is next. That involves the claim of stanek associates incorporated for research and recovery services to Travis County. Move that we authorize the county attorney to settle this matter for $12,500 and an appropriate release.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. We discussed 48 involving our agreement with the city of Jonestown for space located at 18649 highway 1431. The Jonestown city council meets on Thursday.

>> they'll get back with us after that. We'll have is it back on.

>> we appreciate the cooperation of the Jonestown city administrator who worked with county staff to try to voafl that matter. We'll have it back on next week. 49 involves the potential purchase of real estate in central Austin. We'll have that back on next week. We asked the county attorney to touch base with representatives of the owner regarding a feasibility period so we'll have it back on for follow-up action. With that said, no further action today. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
