Travis County Commissioners Court
August 29, 2006
Item 4
Number 4 is to consider and take appropriate action regarding the proceed biftion outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County and related matters.
>> we've had some rain, but it's not sufficient to warrant the change. Parts of southern Travis County received little if any rain. Therefore it's my recommendation for you today is is to renew the outdoor burning ban order, the one that we established 30 days ago expires tonight at midnight. So it is my recommendation that we go ahead and put another burn ban in place. If we should get new rains we'll have this back on next Tuesday and be ale to review it.
>> move that we approve another order prohibiting outdoor burning. Discussion? We'll have it back on next week. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
