Number one is is a public hearing to receive comments regarding a petition for the creation of bastrop-travis counties emergency services district number one.

>> good morning. Why don't we hear from the applicant?
>> I'll be brief. We've been working on forming an emergency service district and basically you recall esd 13, that tienly sliver of -- that tiny sliver of he will disbin in Travis County. We got the consent of the city. I believe all the documents are in order. I'll be brief. I do want to introduce chief fainer and julia schwartz and I'll be happy to answer any questions. The map is right there. And I also have, if you'd like, I have eight and a half by 11's if you want to take a look. Yesterday afternoon -- yesterday morning bastrop county granted the petition, so we'll be getting the election order. We've coordinated the language on the ballot, so I think everything is in order.

>> since we were here three or four weeks ago, proper notice was given. If you look in your backup you will see the affidavits associated with that, execution and posting was give nen both in the bastrop county sheriff's department and the Travis County sheriff's department, notices placed on the courthouse door. Permission was grant frd the city of elgin and also there was a minor hitch, part of the e.t.j. Of the city of bastrop nfs the proposed district and that that permission has been granted as well.
