Item 1

View captioned video.

1 is to consider and take appropriate action regarding the prohibition of outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County and related matters.

>> good morning, pete baldwin, Travis County emergency management coordinator. Actually, there's not a whole lot to discuss. I didn't bring any rain with me. And long-range forecast gives slight chance this weekend, better looking chance 14 days out, right now just caught in that August high pressure. Going to be hot, very dry, very dangerous out there. The folks down in caldwell county did an excellent job down there with the paint warehouse that caught on fire. Kept it from surrounding, could have been a tremendous wild land fire if that thing got away from them. The problem is hot is dry. No action needed, we recommend the ban be left in place.

>> okay. By taking no action our order prohibiting outdoor burning remains in place.

>> yes, sir. Questions, comments, thank you, mr. Baldwin.
