20. Consider and take appropriate action on the following planning requirements for community development block grant from the u.s. Department of housing and urban development: a. Post Travis County's consolidated plan and the fy 2007 action plan for public comment beginning June 28, 2006 and ending July 27, 2006; and b. Announce public hearings at Travis County Commissioners court on July 11, 2006, and July 18, 2006. Both of those hearings will be posted for 9:00 a.m.

>> good morning. Christie moffat, Travis County Commissioners court.

>> may pogue, Travis County Commissioners court. We are happy to let you know that the draft of the consolidated plan and the one action plan for the community development block grant through the housing and urban development is ready for public -- public comment. So we will be putting that on -- on the website and also providing copies to the community centers, where people can review it, make summaries for what you have in front of you today. We have convinced 115 -- condensed a 115 page document down into about five pages, so people can get a quick read of the community needs, the priorities that were created. -- public comments -- [indiscernible] to the cdbg program at p.o. Box 1748, Austin, Texas, 78767. Or they can e-mail me at christie, christymoff [indiscernible]

>> let me ask you something. For those that do not have the -- have the -- the technology to do the e-mailing and all of these other kind of things that we -- the website, all of this other kind of stuff, as far as exposure, of being exposed to the particular public hearing dates, they may have specific questions that -- that they need answered. Is there a telephone number whereby someone will be able to call to find out what's going on with them, maybe have their specific questions answered? Do we have a phone number associated with all of that stuff? Any comments have been given in writing. We can also call and try to answer any questions, assist them in putting that in writing if that's what they need help with.

>> residents want to see a copy of the consolidated plan summary, the -- contact you at that number, or any member of the Commissioners court.

>> we will send them the five page summary.

>> we will be smailg that, e-mailing that, also available at the community centers anybody that has come to the public hearings, we will be giving that information to let them know that it's available.

>> okay. If you want to see the full plan, though, they should contact you, come by and see your copy.

>> or go to one of the community centers, go on line and have access.

>> they can access that if they have that capability.

>> correct.

>> for those listening the two public hearings will be July 11, 2006, July 18th, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., here in the Commissioners court room, the public comment period begins tomorrow morning and ends July 27th, 2006 and I move approval of --
