Now I think we are ready for executive session. Number 39 has been postponed per county attorney. 40, receive briefing and take appropriate action regarding recruitment of chief medical examiner and deputy medical examiners and related matters. That's the consultation with attorney -- it's the personnel matters exception to the open meetings act. 41, consider and take appropriate action on recommendations resulting from administrative review of issues related to the Travis County fire marshal and assistant fire marshal. That's the consultation with attorney and personnel matters exceptions to the open meetings act. 42, receive briefing and take appropriate action and concerning the extension of administrative leave for Travis County health and human services department slot number 142, consultation with attorney and personnel matters. 43, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding james colby west, consultation with attorney and personnel matters exceptions to the open meetings act. We'll discuss those matters in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.


number 40ing regarding recruitment of a chief medical examiner and deputy medical examiner, we did give directions to staff and we discussed various options. Any action to take in court? We will have it back on the court's agenda next week, June 27th, just in case we need it. Number 41 the matter involving the administrative review of issues related to the Travis County fire marshal, I move that we give the Travis County fire marshal notice of the Commissioner's court decision not to renew his appointment as Travis County fire marshal when it expires on June 30th of 2006. And to further request or direct that he meet with Commissioners Gomez and Daugherty to discuss an appropriate transition plan with conditions with him unless he chooses not to do so. That the meeting take place within the next 72 hours and that we have that plan and any related issues on the court's agenda next Tuesday, June 27th, 2006, for any appropriate follow-up action by the Commissioners court.
