Number 24 is to consider and take appropriate action on strategy to fill executive manager and criminal justice planning and executive manager for emergency services positions and related issues. Just a little update on the criminal justice planning part, I have pulled together the last three job postings that we've had on this and I will circulate this to the committee, if not today, tomorrow, and in my view we should probably get some input from some others. I indicated before the da and the county attorney. And we should send it to ms. Hale and see if she can represent the criminal judges on it on whether they prefer to have somebody else. I think if we do that, even maybe the sheriff also, maybe the sheriff will want his managers, then we will have closed the circle. That will be five other entities besides us and the committee. And try to get them to give us feedback on an appropriate job posting and try to get that on the court's agenda either the 20th or the 27th. And the 27th may be more appropriate.

>> remember, Margaret and I are out on the 27th because of continuing education. Just stating that for the record.

>> what I’ll do is share that with y'all before you leave and if you have issues with it, I’ll wait, but I doubt that I will be able to get it done by the 20th. That's just a week.

>> okay.

>> and we're supposed to -- Commissioner Daugherty and I are going to meet I guess this coming Thursday to review the executive emergency coordinator, that position there. And we're supposed to review the job descriptions. So I guess Thursday we'll have more to report after that Thursday meeting.

>> we'll have it back on in a week or two weeks from now? Two weeks, you think, Gerald? Let's see if we can get it done by thn. We can flip it a few more weeks if we need to. If we're approving it for posting, we can use the next two weeks towards a 30-day posting, it would help. We would be that much further down the road.

>> the subcommittees are going to get together and will come up and we'll craft a new job posting description?

>> unless they conclude that the last one we used is perfect or fine.

>> if the last one is all right, no reason to go through that extra work. But I’m thinking that a sort of up to date brainstorming session with the right people -- I really forget how the postings are worded. They we do a pretty good job of having them as broad as possible. If we can improve on them, fine, if not, we'll run with what we've got.

>> and the two of us is involved in that too as far as the other committee members on that, Commissioner.

>> yes. We've got terry williams, we've got joe gieselman, ed rock. Dan hobby come in.

>> I feel like we'll hash something out and have it ready for the court.

>> judge, this is like a side comment here. I know we've got as an announcement that people that are interested in being our -- on our hospital district, that I think the deadline on that is tomorrow at 6:00. It's tomorrow at 6:00. I am happy to assist in going through all the applications and getting things organized, categorized, whatever is necessary in terms of helping to get that work organized for the work of the court.

>> last I heard we had only received about three.

>> it may be a very short task, but I’m happy to do whatever works since I worked on that.

>> I think the recommendation I thought was to extend that. That posting. We can ask her this afternoon.

>> I think it would be helpful if I could get all that organized for you, for the committee.

>> okay. We'll have 24 on back on in two weeks then.
