5. Approve proclamation urging all citizens to recognize memorial day. I object else want to read this -- anybody else want to read this one? Or do you like the way I read them.

>> anybody here to receive this? [one moment please for change in captioners] whereas we owe a debt of gratitude to the many texans who died protecting our way of live to which this event offers an opportunity to honor and commemorate their sacrifice, whereas special tribute and respect should be extended to those Travis County employees called to duty and their families for the sacrifices they have made during this time of war and the devotion they have demonstrated in the protection of our nation and whereas it is appreciated that the patriotic, unselfish sacrifice of those veterans should be remembered. Now therefore it be the Travis County Commissioners court -- we, the Travis County Commissioners court do here by proclaim may 29th as memorial day in Travis County. That's this coming Monday. And call upon the citizens of Travis County to experience memorial day with appropriate programs and activities focusing on the achievements of those who serve this great nation and show appreciation for their service. And I move approval. David, any comments?

>> just one real quick. I would like to thank the Commissioners court -- first, my name is david salazar. I’m the executive assistant for Travis County health and human services, and I’d like to thank on behalf of Travis County health and human services and the veteran service office, the Commissioners court for the proclamation and for the support and I’d also like to remind the court and the residents of Travis County that there are plenty of opportunities to commemorate the service of all our veterans, starting with Saturday at the Travis County memorial cemetery at 10:00 a.m. There's a memorial ceremony, again. And in Round Rock there's also fiesta omstated startogsaturday, through Sunday. A and then on Monday on memorial day proper, there are plenty of opportunities to attend memorial ceremonies at various cemeteries as well as our annual veterans memorial at the capitol rotunda. And I -- if you've got any other questions, I’d be happy to entertain them.

>> we have a list of events we'd be happy to share with the public. Part of my motion is to remind non-employees that work in nonessential areas that Monday is a county holiday that they'll have off.
