Travis County Commissioners Court
May 9, 2006
Item 21
On 21, we thought that the county clerk was here on another item. 21 is to consider and take appropriate action on issues related to the conduct of the may 13th, 2006 joint general and special elections, including the designation of election day polling places. And if we can look at the back, what I was hoping to do -- she has shaded 156 -- she has shaded 156, virginia l. Brown recreation center, 7500 blessing avenue. Is that one of the changes? Then 156, know that you are voting at the virginia l. Brown recreation center at 7500 blessing avenue. That's precinct 156. The other one that's shaded here is -- and I can't see the number to the left there. Combined canyon vista middle school, 8455 spicewood springs road.
>> it's definitely precinct 3.
>> I don't know any shade.
>> it's not really shade, it's just --
>> it's barely shaded.
>> badly shaded, yeah.
>> the other one is 343 combined -- 333 at canyon creek elementary school, and that address is 10210 ember glen drive. So those seem to be three changes, and probably we will learn at the last minute that we would not be able to use those locations and these were subconstituted.
>> 336 is wunt that was 336 is the one that was combined with 335.
>> 336 and 335.
>> yes, sir.
>> and canyon vista middle school -- no, that's another one. Okay. Move approval.
>> second.
>> if you have questions about where you need to vote, especially in those precincts, call the clerk's office, consult with the "austin american-statesman". Seconded by Commissioner goes mez. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. That was item 21.
