11. Consider and take appropriate action on agreement with daughters of charity health services of Austin and pediatrix medical services inc. For neonatal intensive care unit transport helicopter services.

>> good morning, judge, Commissioner. Just one second here. If we could -- if we could -- I think we need to close that door there.

>> good morning, judge, Commissioners. Casey pain, star flight program manager. I have with me today john [indiscernible] to my right, jeff brockman on one of our flight nurses, district commander, nancy shepherd and susan crane from seton and from peadritrix. We are bringing with to you a contract that will allow us to contract with the transfer of neonatal patients. We have been working on this for several months. We have brought it to fruition. Bring it to you today. I know that some of the seton folks would like to speak.

>> okay.

>> my name is john lloyd, I’m the medical director for our transport services at seton main. As a neonatologist I’m very passionate about the care we as a community provide to our sickest babies. I just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to talk about this today and actually have this -- this moment here. This is another step forward in a journey that began a long time ago. We have been providing neonatal services in Texas for over 30 years. This will allow us to provide more rapid acute care for babies in our region and transport them to our level three nurseries here at both the children's hospital and at seton main to provide very life saving care. This will take the services that we provide now and take them to a whole different level. This has been the -- the fruition of the labor of a lot of different people. I mean, beginning 30 years ago, with -- with Karen teal and jacob kay and sister mary rose mcfee. Nancy shepherd lately just pull dogging this to get it done. Thank you very much. Appreciate you providing this -- this support that you do for star flight which we will be able to support the seton network in providing this kind of care for babies.

>> okay. Any other comments?

>> y'all, I was able to fly yesterday, casey and willie and I went up in the ec 145, not only is it amazing, Gerald, yes we are going to get you up there. It's even smoother than before. [laughter] but I was also stunned and very pleasantly pleased to see how much progress is being made on dell children's hospital, you can really when you get up above it see it. And I -- talk about a marriage of -- of a facility whose time has come and to have the transport service, I’m just so glad that we are able to marry these two great ideas. This is going to be an amazing, amazing feat, I want to thank you for -- urge everybody to get up in the new ec 145. It's something else.

>> move approval.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? Show judge --

>> go ahead.

>> show Commissioners Sonleitner, Gomez, Daugherty, yours truly voting in favor.

>> show me abstaining. I have already -- supplied a disclosure statement to the clerk and the reason for that is because my wife is employed with the daughters of charity network. So therefore I will have to -- to abstain. Thank you.

>> okay.

>> thank you.

>> thank you all very much.

>> thank you. Motion carries.
