28. Consider and take appropriate action on draft conservation development joof this is one we discussed two weeks ago. Joe is here to give direction because he wants to go out and get some public comment, right?
>> that is correct.
>> let me let you say it in your own words, joe.
>> I would like to go out and get some public input on the conservation development ordinance and with the direction of the court, I think that you have seen the preview of that in our work session. We know there's a lot of interest in the community. And we hope to get some good comments back from them.
>> I think that's what the judge just said.
>> yeah.
>> it was a good -- I thought it was a good presentation, I think we don't need to waste time, let's just move approval. Go.
>> get out in the community.
>> yeah.
>> you have a strategy for getting groups together?
>> uh-huh. We have several meetings set up with some focus groups, so -- we are -- and -- I should expect probably three weeks or so we will have enough comments to come back to the court with it.
>> okay.
>> okay. So the motion is to proceed to the public meetings stage, be as inclusive as possible, and at some point we will have this back on court's agenda for further consideration by the court. That time may be 30 to 45 days from now or longer.
>> I think that's about right, 45 days will give us enough time.
>> how long does it take you to get this stuff together, joe?
>> a matter of making sure that we have touched base with he everybody that has an interest in commenting on the final ordinance. Also previewing the -- the parks and open space plan at the same time. So getting comments on both.
>> I know --
>> they are represented so --
>> if the court members have particular groups or individuals we are open to those suggestions.
>> okay. Motion, direction.
>> anybody seconded, not yet?
>> second.
>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote with Commissioner Daugherty temporarily away. He may want to be include understand that vote when he gets back. We will check with him. That brings us to executive session, doesn't it?
