>> we'll be getting to item 2 real soon. Anybody for citizen communication to address the Commissioners court on any matter not on the agenda. And jennifer gale has joined us.

>> hi Travis County.

>> morning.

>> happy saint pap trick's -- patrick's day on a south by southwest week. Commissioner Margaret Gomez, congratulations on your primary win. Commissioner Daugherty, judge Sam Biscoe and my very own Commissioner Ron Davis. Karen Sonleitner has done an awful lot of work for us. It's a shame she wasn't able to be reelected. I知 here to address the court in the matter of our light rail system in Austin. We are running out of time in terms of filing a lawsuit to get that stopped so that the people can vote on it again. I知 asking the court to intervene on behalf of the voters to give them another chance to look at this. Under state law, under state statute, in the government code 556.004, and you can look that up under www.capitol.state.tx.us. And it says, a state agency may not use any money under its control, including appropriated money to finance or otherwise support the candidacy for a person in the election of an office for state or judicial branch... ... Of a person to perform an action described by the subsection. And if you go down to c it says, a state officer or employee may not use official authority or influence or permit the use of a program administered by the state agency of which the person is an officer or an employee to interfere with or affect result of an election. And I知 saying that's what officer lee walker did at the capital metropolitan transportation authority board, so I知 asking Commissioner Gomez to intervene to hold another election because they violated this law when he went before the Austin city council October 20th, 2004. Just prior to this election being held. It was a pretty close election. So clearly the light rail is not electric it doesn't run between downtown and Leander. It goes into east Austin where gentrification is tearing up the character and the people of east Austin and raising their taxes. So this is having a detrimental effect. Please, I知 asking you again to intervene. I think we only have until this coming August or November. Thank you very much, judge.

>> thank you. And a few minutes ago I did not call the name of joseph birkle.

>> [inaudible - no mic].
