Housing Finance Corporation
We do need the Travis County housing finance corporation, I call it to order, one item to consider and take appropriate action to request to approve an invoice from consumer credit counseling service.
>> I’m harvey Davis, manager for the corporation. The amount of the invoice is $300, for -- for home first time home buyer education classes, consumer credit counseling gave to four first-time home buyers. Under our agreement, with consumer credit counseling, the classes cost $75 per family for the 8 hour course. The corporation pays 50 of the $75 and the home buyer pays $25. The -- in this situation the four home buyers have paid the $25, we have put it in our bank accident. Bank -- bank account.
>> this is proper prospective home buyers or --
>> yes, prospective home buyers, right. They have to take the class obviously before they closed on their house.
>> okay. This is the county bond program?
>> the county -- the american dream down payment initiative program.
>> okay.
>> any reason why we should not pay this invoice?
>> none that I know of.
>> I move approval.
>> second.
>> discussion?
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. With director Davis absent.
>> all in favor? That passes unanimously, also.
