4. A. Consider and take appropriate action on fees for Travis County milton reimers ranch park. B. Approve setting a public hearing date of January 17, 2006 to receive comments regarding fees for Travis County milton reimers ranch park.

>> good morning. [indiscernible] Travis County parks. Basically the fees that were discussing -- that we're discussing it as your request to look at the fees for milton reimers ranch park. On December 22nd you recommended that we bring back the proposed fees and also looking at setting a public hearing regarding the fees. Our current fee structure which the court adopted in September 2003 basically allows visitors flexibility of visiting more than one park on a given day. If a separate fee structure -- separate fee structure versus a per person charge in place, that flexibility would probability be lost. Also raises the question whether our annual permits would be allowed to enter the park and such. Based on this what we are recommending is that the current fee structure that was approved in 2003 be approved for -- for milton reimers ranch park, we also recommend that a public hearing related to the proposed fee structure be held on January 17th, if you would like I would be glad to go through our current fee structure if you have any questions.

>> for those who want to know exactly what the proposal is, if we send them just a -- the last page.

>> yes.

>> this will be all of the recommendations?

>> that is correct. The last page is our current fee structure and those fees would apply to milton reimers ranch park.

>> okay.

>> I move approval of a and b.

>> okay.

>> now this does nothing for the other open space parkland that we acquired, we will deal with that later.

>> actually, you would enter through -- for the time being through reimers park. There's no other access to hogue springs or any others. If you want into reimers you would be eligible to take the tower over to the adjoining -- the tour over to the adjoining tract.

>> if an individual that's listening to us today would like to know exactly what this fee structure is, before going out the -- to reimers, how would they get this information?

>> they would either call 854-park or go back to the county website.

>> repeat that.

>> 854-park, 7275.

>> okay.

>> I would like to reiterate that the park is free right now until the end of the month.

>> up until when.

>> the end of January.

>> end of January. After that folks will be subjected to the fee structure.

>> that's correct.

>> it's also on our website.

>> yes.

>> yes, sir.

>> any more discussion of the motion? Questions? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank you all very much.

>> thank you very much. That did approve the setting of a public hearing on January 17th, 2006. Regarding the fees.
