On number 45, and during our work session recently we looked at a draft letter from our consultants, if we could make a point to look at that draft letter over lunch, in my view we ought to have the proposed legislation submitted to us by February 1. That would give -- give the entire month of January. Let's just discuss that, maybe try to do 45 this afternoon. We need to get a letter out to department heads saying if you need legislation, you need to let us know. Then we give them the full month of January to work on it and get the submissions to us by February 1.
>> judge, what about courtrooms that may want to bring an initiative before us for legislation purpose for this -- would we be in that same time frame or would it be a different time frame for Commissioners court?
>> I think it would be for everybody.
>> each letter would include -- so this would what the Commissioners court also wants enveloped in this effort?
>> right. And in my view wewill decide bed late January whether to have a work session or a Tuesday discussion. A lot depends on the submissions, I believe.
I do think we ought to take up 45 this afternoon if we can look at the recommended draft letter. My recommended date will be the deadline for submitting the proposed legislation February 1 and we decide whether to put it on Tuesday agenda, work session agenda. Let's look at that language, though. And -- and what I can do is send everybody a copy of the e-mail that I had bob forward to me again yesterday.
