43 is to consider and take appropriate action on primary services contract, joint resolution and memorandum of understanding with the democratic and republican parties for the March 7th, 2006 joint primary election and the April 11, 2006 joint primary runoff election. If necessary.
>> if necessary. Thank you very much. Dana debeauvoir, Travis County clerk. This joint primary agreement is something we've been doing in Travis County for well more than 10 years. I’m beginning to lose track how long. And it represents a level of cooperation between the democratic party and the republican party as well as all of the candidates in making sure that voting is easy for voters. What we've done is have the parties agree to hold their primaries under the same roof so voters can show up at the same polling place and then choose which ballot they want to vote on once they get there. So we appreciate the parties' cooperation and respect for each other and the voters in this process.
>> and we're working with both parties and I guess if there's a third or fourth one, independent and otherwise, we'll work with them too at their request.
