Travis County Commissioners Court

Consent Items
Posted for consent are c-1 through c-6, and I show those to be ready. And we've been asked to consider adding the following items to the consent motion. A-1 a and b. And going to the front of the agenda, 5-a. Now, that requires a local match of 46,000 if this is awarded, but we get 186,000. The judges wanted to come over, but I told them that I thought this was just the application. If we could put it on consent, we would. Any objection to that. Mental health, that's a big area for us. So 5-a is on the consent motion. Number 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16. Questions about is 17?
>> we need --
>> we probably need executive session.
>> okay. That's the one that the mcclish letter came on? 21,. What about 19? Any issues on that? There's a whole lot of wording there, but I think it's pretty simple.
>> [inaudible - no mic]. Number 19, when we get calls from residents, and we will, we will need a number to refer them to. So 19 and 21. 22, 23, 24, 25. These are purchasing items. 26, 27. Issues on 28? 28 will not be part of the consent motion. 29, 30.
>> judge, does that include the out of county autopsy interlocals? And they've got the doctor still on that list, and he's no longer working here. I think all of the autopsies ones ought to be pulled until we decide what we're doing here. [inaudible - no mic].
>> I’m going to have to abstain anyway.
>> 30 will not be part of the consent motion. 31, 32.
>> 32 I need.
>> 32 we will pull and address separately. 33, 34, 35. I will need to take a look at 36. 37. 38 we will have back on next week for action. 39 and 40 are hospital district items. 41. 42 in its entirety? 43?
>> 43 I need those pulled, judge. I have a question that I had on the earlier one.
>> all of 43?
>> yes, sir.
>> okay. And we understood to discuss 44 briefly. On 44, think of the number of pamphlets that you need individually. We'll add those up and the question will be whether to ask the print shop to print those. Tnr has been printing those individually.
>> you didn't include 39 and 40 on there. That's for this afternoon, right?
>> yes, sir. The hospital district items.
>> right. Okay.
>> would anyone like for us to pull any of these items for separate discussion? All in favor of the motion? That passes by unanimous vote.
