7. Receive briefing and take appropriate action regarding the prohibition of outdoor burning in the unincorporated areas of Travis County. Every time we put a ban in place, that triggers a -- at least a moderate rain, if nothing else, doesn't it?
>> yes, sir. Pete baldwin emergency management coordinator. We had rain that very day we put it in place, then yesterday most of the county had received approximately inch or better. We have still got some more rain coming in this morning out from the west. With that in mind and with everything in place, it's going to be my recommendation that we lift the ban, we will have a green up -- occur that will help us out for the next seven to 10 days, maybe even 14 days. But there are rains forecast even on beyond that. So -- so after visiting with some of our chiefs around the county, I believe it's prudent that we go ahead and lift that ban today.
>> move that we follow staff's recommendation and lift the outdoor burn ban?
>> second.
>> I have two orders or two copies of the order.
>> okay. All in favor? That passes by unanimous
