I don't know if we have anything under 24 which is consider and take appropriate action on issues under consideration during the 79th Texas legislature. There seemed to be some movement at the capitol so I didn't know whether we needed to discuss exactly what's being actively considered at this point or not.
>> well, the significant issue for us is one of the calls that the governor made were for revenue caps. And house bill 4 and senate bill 4 are capping revenue for local governments including counties, the recommendation to 5%. We testified against that bill in the senate. It was heard in senate finance two weeks ago. And then there was testimony also in house ways and means. It's still sitting in house ways and means, still sitting in the senate. One of the things, and I passed out the memo I had sent, I think that one of the interesting things, and it's where it needs to go in the testimony, the focus is change to go services and it needs to. In other words, we need to be talking about what 5% does to services because it's a morphis. It's for instance what it does for housing inmates, paying for justice, and the emphasis in the haerbgsz are change to go that -- hearings are changing to that. And the coverage that we're getting in the press is changing to that. And I think that's where the dialogue needs to take place.

>> ...i do think you could send her a memo to the committee. In her memo she sets out her perception of potential impact on Travis County?
>> as I understood it, the government treasurer's association was fighting written documentation. She was hoping to get the court on board, but understood it took four members to take action. At the very I wanted you to know she had some concern about what that bill did. I would direct you to concern on that direction.
>> okay. Appreciate it.
>> this was sent to the Travis County delegation and a reminder note of the action taken by the Commissioners court.
