Number 41 is to consider and take appropriate action on request for Commissioner's court to set a parcel rate for tax year 2005.
>> good morning. Travis County tax office. Each year we go through and calculate the cost for the coming year to collect the taxes for all the jurisdictions in Travis County. You receive the backup. We've got a few more jurisdictions this year. Last year we set it at '99, I think, and we were going to look to go up to match the -- we had more monies that were due to us but the court has always not shot the whole thing at one time, but this year it comes in at 95-cents with all the jurisdictions, so we would assume you would want to set it at 95-cents for the taxing jurisdictions.
>> what is the reason for it dropping.
>> taxing units came in, some new ones, we shared amongst everybody, we had a pretty much fixed cost, now there's more people sharing so caused it to go down this year.
>> the recommendation is set it at 95-cents.
>> yes, sir.
