Item 30

View captioned video.

Number 30 is to consider and take appropriate action on request from district clerk for temporary or permanent employee assistance for facts data entry.
>> I think in terms of just the quick and dirty, the fill-in, things that we know that are true to get three temporaries to start working on the facts data entry. It's supported by i.t.s. And it defers some of the other implementation issues and work load issues appropriately to the budget process, but I am beyond comfortable with the recommendation that is supported by joe harlow of three temps.
>> (indiscernible).
>> and it kind of defers the other stuff.
>> we're still doing the time and motion studies.
>> we'll have -- that's right. We need to get the updated figures because this takes it through the end of the fiscal year, and I think what you have is what's left from that.
>> and did we have this in the facts reserve or was this separate and apart from the facts reserve. Reserve?
>> this is different than what we had --
>> this takes us through the end of the fiscal year. And the other one was an estimate for about a month -- a little over a month.
>> okay.
>> and this could come out of the facts operating reserve because of the delay that we had in funding the county clerk's facts implementation team. There's sufficient savings in there to fund this for the district clerk's office.
>> these are all temps, so it's not forever. It basically recognizes that the district clerk has a very serious issue. Let's get on in there, let's start tackling it and as we get the time and motion study coming through and we look at other issues, by then we're looking at its budget time anyway and we'll be able to pull in everybody's issues as well. I’m extraordinarily comfortable with this.
>> let's get it done. 23,965.
>> and if your motion could include that we do this as an automatic after this because we didn't have time to do it under the budget amendments and transfers.
>> it comes from the facts reserve.
>> any more discussion? Thanks for your patience this morning. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> thank you very much, guys.
