A 1 is to reject all bids received for ifb number b 050060 jt, uninterruptable power systems replacement and rebid.
>> good morning judge, Commissioners, cyd grimes Travis County purchasing agent. We received 13 -- we solicited 13 businesses, received three bids for these u.p.s. Replacement. All of the bids were not -- nonresponsive due to errors, so we are recommending rejecting them all and correcting our specifications and rebidding.
>> okay. If you will give us your name, sir, your affiliation we would be happy to get your comments.
>> fred park with schmidt electric. We were one of the -- one of the companies that arm solicited for bid. And submitted a bid and I believe we felt we were low bidder on the project. The letter that we received said that they were dismissing our bid and we didn't realize that they were rejecting all of the bids until this morning when I read the updated bid.
>> looks like we received three bids. And we found all to have errors. And therefore the recommendation is that we reject all of them and rebid this item.
>> right. That's the only fair thing to do.
>> you have no problem with that.
>> I have no problem with that.
>> okay.
>> that's why I move approval.
>> second.
>> thank you.
>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. And, cyd, any idea of the timing of the rebid?
>> we'll -- [indiscernible] we are going to do it off of the state contract, so we can do it quickly. This u.p.s. Has got to be replaced very quickly. So deal with it through the contract process, which shortens it and so like bonnie said, we will issue it tomorrow, open it Friday.
