31 is to consider and take appropriate action -- that will be back on next week. Consider and approve charges an methods for determining costs charged by the county clerk's office for the elections and recording divisions.
>> judge and Commissioners, what you have before you is a list of the products and services that are offered by the elections division and the costs associated with each one of those services and/or products. And I can go through the list with you, but I think probably the one that you want to spend the most time on would be the one about how we charge entities who participate with us in elections. We have two cost schedules, one for people who are -- for entities that are really county-wide. They're very, very large entities. And then we have an incremental cost allocation schedule for the little bitty guys, the ones that have a handful of precincts. Both of those formulas are -- we believe are fair to both parties. Pbo helped us do it. I think we've got something that will be attractive to a small entity, and unobjectionable and attracted to the large entities as well. That's probably the one you care about the most. But I also have some other things in here that I can do electronic data for real property now instead of selling rolls of microfilm, so I want to make that transfer available for the cost that it will do -- for the costs that it will cost us to set that up. So I have customers who are requesting that, and so what I’m asking today is for permission to charge the following fees for all of those services and products from elections division.
>> questions, comments? We believe all these are fair and reasonable to the best of your judgment.
>> absolutely. We think we've gotten it down as low as possible and still covered our costs.
>> in this memo there is set out four specific requests, right?
>> yes, sir. Shall I read them quickly into the record.
>> the motion is to approve all four. If we can just give the clerk the backup. There are bold letters with numbers to the left, four, those are our motions. And they basically cover a variety of fees that the county clerk has been charging or will start charging?
>> will start charging. A couple of them were part of a contract. That's where we got the allegation schedule as part of our contract for the city of Austin. And we're now expanding into other jurisdictions.
>> very good.
>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Thank you very much. We appreciate your patience.
