Housing Finance Corporation
Let's call to order the Travis County housing finance corporation 1. Consider and take appropriate action on request to approve an invoice from consumer credit counseling service.
>> good afternoon I’m harvey Davis, manager for the corporation. You will recall consumer credit counseling does the home buyer education for the home buyer assistance program and the home buyers pay the $75 fee for the 8-hour classes through the corporation and then we -- we turn around and pay consumer credit counseling and so I’m requesting permission to make a payment to consumer credit counseling of the honey that has been paid and deposited into the corporation's bank account. Since our -- since I prepared this memo, we have gotten $150 more. So I’m requesting permission to pay consumer credit counseling $675, and do represent to the corporation that we have received that amount of money. Questions?

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 2. Consider and take appropriate action on request to exercise the option to extend for one year on the contract with agape Austin area housing, inc., to provide low cost housing for the elderly and adults with disabilities.
>> this program was started a year ago at lakeview apartments, 10 units were set aside for people who are elderly or disabled. The tenants are referred by family elder care. The program is done in cooperation with -- with agape, Austin who is the owner of lakeview apartments. Family elder care, Travis County health and human services department, and capstone management company that manages the department. Everyone is happy with the -- with the way the program is being run. I gave a status report a couple of months ago on the program. And so I’m recommend thank the board approve the -- the exercising the option to extend the program for another year.
