Number two is a proclamation recognizing seton medical center's 30th anniversary. And we have mr. Greg hartman. Senior vice-president of planning for seton here with us. It reads: whereas the history of seton dates back to 1902, when it was known as the city infirmary. The infirmary transformed to the seton medical center at its current location on 38th street in 1975. Whereas throughout its 30 year history at the present site the seton medical center has grown to meet the needs of Travis County and surrounding central Texas communities providing many firsts, such as the first regional neonatal unit in 1979, the first wellness education program in the nation, the good health school; the first and only hospital to do heart transplants; the first facility in central Texas to offer electro physiology procedures for diagnosis and guiding treatment of heart disorders; the first pulmonary intermediate care unit in central Texas for the treatments of patients dependent on respiratory, ventilators and the first hospital along with brackenridge in Texas to be designated a primary stroke center due to its comprehensive stroke prevention and treatment programs. Whereas seton earned the distinct designation as consumer choice one in cardiac care, by the national research corporation, in November of 2004 seton was named one of the nation's top 100 cardio vascular hospitals for setting national performance benchmarks that demonstrates superior cardiovascular services. Whereas to commemorate seton medical center's 30th anniversary at its 38th street location, administrators and staff will dine together, share food, memories, solicit pictures from the community and most importantly say thank you to its many fine employees in the central Texas community, but the public is not invited to that dinner, right? [laughter]
>> we might be able to find you some food, judge.
>> it is appropriate that we honor seton medical center's for it's dedication, leadership and outstanding service, and deep appreciation and gratitude. Therefore be it resolved that we the Travis County Commissioners court do hereby extend heartfelt thanks to seton medical center for all of its many contributions to our community. I move approval.
>> second.
>> good morning.
>> good morning, judge. I couldn't have said it better. We appreciate this recognition. The seton medical center, we are styling this anniversary sort of a thank you to the central Texas community because of Austin and central Texas has supported the seton medical center so well for 30 years. Has given us so much back. It's been such a joy to serve the community there. As you said, seton medical center really is a treasure. It's been such an innovative place when it came to health care for central Texas, there's a lot of things on the horizon going to be doing new and different as well, too, which I’m excited about. I think the next 30 years is going to have another list of first and onlies for seton medical center as well, too. We really do appreciate your recognition, thanks for your time, thank you very much.
>> congratulations. I didn't know the -- the history dates back to 1902.
>> yeah.
>> longer -- at the current site.
>> as a matter of fact, judge, we will be sending you guys an invitation to this. We are going to be starting a seton archives, we actually have one. Starting a permanent central Texas medical exhibit there at the hospital, too, the history we found in our warehouses and other places is pretty amazing from the early days of the infirm marry, original heart transplant. We will be announcing a permanent exhibit at the hospital on our anniversary celebration.
>> good.
>> I remember the old location. I’m getting old.
>> thank you.
>> thanks.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
