>> good morning, judge Biscoe and Commissioners. My name is jimmy astro, I’m here on speak on my own behalf, i've also served as a volunteer with the greater Austin chamber of commerce. I’m here to invite everyone to the 68th star of Texas fair and rodeo at the Travis County exposition center between March 12th through the 26th. The star of Texas fair and rodeo scholarship program is open to students from 120 counties within Texas. This is the largest youth education fundraiser in central Texas. Okay. I think there's a technical difficulty on the screen, the -- the slide is not moving.
>> media? Slides aren't changing.
>> yeah.
>> judge, i'll change the slides -- I don't change the slides, that's the laptop.
>> push your slide change button there, mr. Castro.
>> pardon?
>> they say that you have to do that manually.
>> oh, okay. I’m doing it manually right now. But nothing is changing.
>> we are doing it, but nothing is happening. It's on this end?
>> yeah, that's correct. You have to advance it there at the laptop. It might be frozen.
>> yeah.
>> can you do it without that, mr. Castro.
>> yes, sir, I can do it without the laptop, you bet. You want me to just continue?
>> okay. The cowboy breakfast was a huge success. Capital metro will also be providing rides to the Travis County exposition center. Some of the featured rodeo events will include barrel racing, calf scramble, bull riding and mutton busing. The crowning of miss rodeo Austin will also take place. The 2005 Austin rodeo gala was a huge success. If you are looking for the best Texas barbecue, the barbecue cookoff is set for March 18th through the 20th. Kids will enjoy kids town and the petting zoo. Nearly 10,000 Texas youth will bring livestock projects that they have spent countless of hours working with. Over the last 20 years, the star of Texas fair and rodeo awarded $18 million to 13,500 kids. The preparation for the show is a year round endeavor. This is a climax of a year's worth of 4-h club members. These scholarships will help those who might not otherwise have had the golden opportunity. The young men and women of the future farmers of america who wear those blue and gold jackets wear them with pride because agribusiness in Texas is good business. Today the star of Texas fair and rodeo has more than 2,000 volunteers who contribute their time and talents. Finally, thanks to the againrous support to establish buyers groups, area businesses and thousands of visitors, this has made the star of Texas fair and rodeo the success that it is today. Thank you, judge and Commissioners.
>> thank you, mr. Castro. Anybody else for citizens communication? Even if you didn't sign in?
