24, consider and take appropriate action on request regarding proposed street name assignment for a private easement to be known as ladera trail off of old burnet road near Jonestown in precinct 3.
>> so move.
>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 25-a, consider and take appropriate action on the following items for steiner ranch, a subdivision in precinct 3, a, a fifth amendment to the steiner ranch master roadway phasing agreement.
>> and judge, the reason why I brought this one up, I was involved in terms of when we did this master roadway phasing agreement. In fact, this was the extension of the phasing agreement. I wanted to make sure that we had full public record, because as we move through the campo 2025 plan and go into the 2030 plan, joe, did we have specific reasons why we decided to down grade this from six lane to four lane, and therefore we would need less right-of-way?
>> yes. At the time that we started the phasing agreement, I believe we were still thinking that this may be something larger. We were asking for 20 feet of right-of-way for a six lane roadway. As you may recall, at one time many, many years ago it was the route 4, the outer loop, state highway 45. It is no longer that in the transportation plan. And when we went to look at the traffic generation for that lower leg of quinn lan park road, it just did not justify six lanes of pavement. So we and the applicant were in agreement that it should be four lanes and that should be more than enough capacity to handle traffic coming from that lower region.
>> and I know we've got work session on this on Thursday talking about the 2030 plan, but are we keeping track of things like this where development in a certain transportation corridor may have justified a certain roadway classification? So many years later we need to make sure that the 2030 plan reflects the reality of what happened with development as opposed to some of the things are still kind of sitting out there and making people crazy because they think some super highway is going to go in where clearly development says it is not.
>> yeah. The answer is yes, we are.
>> great, great. That was really my only thing is -- because we're going to have other people say, please down grade my segment, and it only is blank. But on this particular one we had a process and the justification, and it is one that we can back up with facts about why we did what we did. So that was my only thing.
>> move approval of 25-a.
>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
