Let's think about this on number 6. Whether we in fact need to have our work sessions Thursday, whether we could easily move them back to Wednesday afternoon. Talking about two times a month. Also the other notion is whether we need to have them at 1:30 in the afternoon. Do they like start in the morning or start in the afternoon?
>> sometimes they start at 1:00, judge.
>> so the option would be we could move it back to Wednesday for these four months, see how it works. Let's think about that over lunch. In spirit of compromise and working with our state officials.

6. Consider and take appropriate action on request from state of Texas to broadcast the house of representatives sessions of the 79th Texas legislature on tctv on Thursday of each week.
>> good afternoon, judge, Commissioners. Steven, director of -- here to talk about Texas house request to broadcast sessions, Texas house sessions on Thursdays. And, judge, you asked us to get the answer to your question last week from the house and that was relating to how much notice that we have from them as to what the topics or what times they will be broadcasting and we've asked them about that and their answer is that they often, to most times, don't know the times that they'll be broadcasting until the end of the session, the day before. In other words, it would be -- the close of Wednesday's session that they would know what time and the topics to be discussed for Thursday.
>> did they want to consider moving the work sessions to another day until the legislature is over?
>> no, I don't.
>> not good?
>> I have other internal meetings and things that are just locked in for six months.
>> okay. I think it sends the wrong message to Travis County taxpayers if we think our business is not important enough to show. But I have been outvoted before. Is there a motion?
>> I would move that the original recommendation, that steve brought to us, which is consistent with what we have done in the past which is to carry the house sessions on Thursday as requested, knowing we may have a con -- conflicts on occasion with our work sessions, but that our own stuff will be handled on our internal closed circuit system on channel 12 and that our work sessions would be broadcast at 7:00 this 7:00 that evening unless the house meeting runs past 7:00.
>> second.
>> any discussion of the motion? All in favor of it? Show commissions Gomez, Daugherty, Sonleitner voting in favor of the voting against so he Commissioner Davis and yours truly the county judge. That motion passes by a vote of 3-2.
