Item 33

On 25 -- that item will be back on next week. 33. Consider and take appropriate action on appointment of the Travis County citizens bond advisory committee. This one is kind of like the one we just discussed. I put in the backup a copy of the charge that we approved --
>> that's 33.
>> 33.
>> 33. I enclosed a copy of the charge, and in my little memo, what I suggest is that in order for us to ensure diversity on the committee, it would be good if we could circulate our proposed list on Friday of this week, and my concern is that we not end up with 15 engineers or, you know, or 10 or 12 lawyers of the 25. That sort of diversity is what I’m looking for.
>> sure.
>> we're not supposed to go back and forth on those, but I think we can see what lists each of us is contemplating. We would add that in the agenda back up anyway. But if we see something that stands out as being incredibly lopsided in favor of a certain provision, then if we would try to get somebody of a different profession that would help.
>> I know it would also help for us because we're obviously taking a look on who served in the past '97 and 2001 that if somebody has already grabbed somebody from previous surface, that's also helpful for us to know that. Some of these folks have moved since they were appointed last, and if they're not in the running because somebody -- it's just information of who's out there.
>> and in order to keep court members from communicating between one another, among one another, what if I get christian and pbo to sort of assist as staff to help us? Last year pbo and tnr kind of staffed the committee anyway the last time we had had one. So let's try to do that and move on this next week. And it's kind of time sensitive if we plan to give them enough time to do their work and give us recommendations before the -- long before the November election. Okay?
>> so how exactly do we get this information and who do we get it to? Pbo?
>> pbo will get it to me. Let's say christian, unless we're told otherwise. And let's get this list. Okay?
