20. There's backup that we need in executive session. My recommendation is we discuss it in executive session under the personnel matters, then come back to court for any open court discussion. Last week we chatted with barbara wilson in executive session. Will she be the assistant county attorney guiding us this time? Okay. 20 is consider and take appropriatings on salary recommendations for dependly fire marshal slot 21, deputy fire marshal slot 37, deputy fire marshal slot 37, deputy fire marshal slot 39 and other personnel that include assistant fire marshal slot 18, assistant fire marshal slot 22, and fire marshal slot 20. We do indicate the possible executive session discussion under the personnel exceptions and we are taking advantage of that now. This will probably be a more meaningful discussion to get the personnel parts over first. As indicated there is backup that we probably need to take with us. But we will discuss what we can in executive session, come back to open court and have a follow-up discussion. And then hopefully will take action today.

My motion is that we authorize the fire marshal to hire any two of the applications for slot 37, 38, and 39. So any two of these. For the salaries that we have indicated in our backup. That we indicate to the two that we hire that we expect them to assist us with the training necessary to fulfill this function. And that we meet with the fire marshal's office over the next few weeks to finalize this new initiative as well as other issues in the fire marshal's office. All of that was seconded by Commissioner Daugherty. Discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote.
