Number 4 is consider and take appropriate action on the following: a receive status report and authorize staff to proceed with plans to renovate three offices located in the second floor of the university savings building. B, discuss and take appropriate action on clinic staffing change to employ a medical doctor instead of a physician assistant or an advance practice nurse and supporting contract physician. The Commissioners court previously approved a specific strategy and we have learned that we need to tweak that and make some changes and that's what this item is about today.
>> [inaudible] for administrative operations. We will start with the discussion of plans to convenient rate three offices located on the second floor of the u.s.c. This is for an employee health clinic. When we first came to the court during budget, our plans were to put the employee health clinic on the first floor of the u.s.b. Since that time we had had discussions with d.r.o. And they needed to expand their space and the domestic relations office is now on the first floor of the u.s.b. And they needed some expansion space. So in late light of that we changed our plans and wanted to keep the main office of the wellness clinic here in the -- on the campus. And there was availability and room on the second floor of the campus. And that offices. The budget was around $17,000 for that renovation. We believe we can come very, very close to renovating those offices for that amount.
>> we think the second floor space would be sufficient?
>> yes, sir.
>> questions about a.? Move approval.
>> second.
>> discussion of the motion? All in favor? All in favor? Show Commissioners Daugherty, Davis, Sonleitner, yours truly in favor. Commissioner Gomez abstaining. 4-b.
>> thank you. On 4-b, I believe that there is a need to go into executive session on this. There is some counsel both from attorney and this is a personnel issue that we should probably go into executive session on.
>> and we will take up 4-b this afternoon.
>> thank you, sir.
>> thank you. We'll call it up when we call up the other executive session items.
